Past Experience
– Worked on TarkaLabs as Lead Technical Consultant.
– Almost 7.5+ years working on a SaaS-based loyalty marketing product company called PAR-Punchh. If you are living in the USA, I guess you already used one of your favorite restaurant apps, that offers loyalty and/or online ordering.
– Few more years almost 2.5+ years I spent on service-based companies, where I made a few apps that actually change people’s life. Was the early adopted iOS application developer and very few apps are available in the stores at that time.
Interesting Projects
– I remember an interesting project I developed around 8-9 years ago, where a coin size device you can put into your child’s cloth and you can track your child on your phone, technology is quite simple as uses BLE (for nearby position and direction up to 30m) and GPS to track the exact location.
– Suppose we go for a trip with family and friends, and clicked a lot of pictures. Generally, my friends say “Send photos you clicked of me”, and then I started searching for a photo of him and sends it to WhatsApp with pics where the quality got compromised. Why not a smart idea can solve this problem, why not an app can cluster my all photos by face and location-based? I mark my friend’s face and the photos are shared with him automatically. Actually, it is quite simple just use face recognition and make a virtual folder and share it with friends by just clicking one button. By this, I can also get my pics on his phone. We can extend this idea by creating a collage or short video of the journey and sharing it on social media as well. I made a similar app on iOS around same 9-10 years ago.
I think it's time to recreate this on react-native and a few modern stuff as well. Email me if you think you want to be part of this project and what about an open-source project for this?
